This segment travels in a 360 degree path around the area to the west of the Memorial Fountain. Beyond the fountain is the west entrance to the Old Main.

The tour begins in front of the Memorial Fountain. Moving to the right, you see Forbes with Marley behind, Yavapai, Social Sciences, Douglass, Arizona State Museum South, then west through the open space that is the historic main gate of campus, Arizona State Museum North, Communications, Economics, and Civil Engineering.

The UA Memorial Fountain was built in 1919 to honor the UA students who lost their lives during World War I.
