The College of Engineering prepares students for careers
as professional engineers. Programs provide training in
building spacecraft, designing power plants and computer
systems, reclaiming toxic waste, and a host of
other building and design projects. The college is accredited by
the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
While most graduates choose engineering careers,
the baccalaureate
program is also good preparation
for law, medicine,
business and government. Students
develop analytical
and quantitative thinking, the habit
of self-directed
learning and a critical approach to
problem-solving.
Graduates make successful
transitions to a wide
variety of careers.
