The general business administration program provides a broad knowledge of the principal areas of business -- graduates become generalists rather than specialists. Students gain background in at least five of seven fields -- accounting, economics, finance, management and policy, management information systems, marketing, and public administration.
High School Preparation:
- Entrance Requirements
- English, Algebra I and II,
plane geometry required
- It is recommended that math be taken throughout all four years of high
school advancing through pre-calculus or calculus.
Major Requirements:
- Major requires math beyond general education requirements, but not
beyond basic calculus; includes Business Math 1, Business Math 2 and
statistics. Transfer students (other than those at Pima Community
College) should take one semester of brief calculus AND one semester of
finite mathematics.
