Members of a fast-growing field, criminal justice administrators are responsible for public safety. They work primarily in law enforcement, corrections and the court system. Majors are trained in economics, finance, and public policy, as well as criminology and other areas related to the justice system.
High School Preparation:
- Entrance Requirements
- English, Algebra I and II, plane geometry required
- It is recommended that math be taken throughout all four years of high
school advancing through pre-calculus or calculus.
Major Requirements:
- Major requires math beyond general education requirements, but not
beyond basic calculus; includes Business Math 1, Business Math 2 and
statistics. Transfer students (other than those at Pima Community
College) should take one semester of brief calculus AND one semester of
finite mathematics.
